Saturday will be a busy day in the National Hockey League as 26 teams are scheduled to play. There are a lot of extremely exciting games on tap, including such contests as the Minnesota Wild traveling to Texas to take on the Dallas Stars, the Pittsburgh Penguins taking on the New Jersey Devils, and the Colorado Avalanche taking on the Winnipeg Jets. Also, the Boston Bruins welcome the Toronto Maple Leafs in what could easily be a playoff preview.

Minnesota has won the last four meetings between these two teams, but they have won only seven of the last 31 meetings in Dallas. The total has gone under in six of the last eight games in Dallas.
The Stars will stop the Wild’s win streak against them. Take Dallas, 3-2.

The Blackhawks are playing well on the road and Calgary stinks at home. Take Chicago to win, 4-1.
- Tampa Bay Lightning (-160) vs. Vancouver Canucks (+140)
Tampa Bay has won four of their last five games on the road. Vancouver has won just 10 of their last 38 home games. The Lightning have won four of the last five meetings in Vancouver and the road team has won seven of the last 10 meetings.
Tampa Bay is playing well on the road and Vancouver is playing terribly at home. Go with the Lightning, 5-2.
- Columbus Blue Jackets vs New York Islanders.
Columbus has won just two of their last seven games and has won just three of their last 11 games on the road. New York has also won just two of their last seven games and they have won one of their last six home games. The Blue Jackets have won the last four meetings, but they have only won two of the last seven in New York.
Both of these teams are in slumps and they are separated by just three points in the standings. New York simply has to win this game and they have played better against Columbus at home. Islanders, 3-2.
