Featured Games to Watch
- Vegas Golden Knights (+105) vs. Winnipeg Jets (-125)
The Winnipeg Jets are 18-3-1 at home this season and have gone 7-2-1 over their last 10 games. Vegas is 6-2-2 in their last 10 games and they are 14-9-2 on the road this season. The Golden Knights have won 11 of their last 14 games against teams with a winning record and are 8-3 in their last 11 games on the road. Winnipeg has won each of their last four home games against teams with a winning road record and they are 24-4 in their last 28 home games. Overall, the Jets have won four of their last five games.
Vegas has gone over in four of their last five games, but they have gone under in four of their last five against teams with a winning record. The Jets have gone under in three of their last five home games and have gone under in five of their last seven games overall.
This should be a great matchup as it pits two division leaders against one another. The slight advantage goes to Winnipeg being at home, so take the Jets, 3-2.
- Tampa Bay Lightning (-115) vs. Calgary Flames (-105
Tampa Bay is 17-8-2 on the road this season, and they are 5-5-0 in their last 10 games. Calgary is 12-12-3 at home and they have gone 5-1-4 in their last 10. The trends look to be going the Lightning’s way. Tampa Bay has won 20 of their last 28 games against teams from the Western Conference, and they have won 24 of their last 35 road games. They are also 26-9 in their last 35 road games against teams with a losing home record. The Flames have lost their last five games and of lost their last four home games.
Tampa Bay has gone over an in d five of their last seven road games and have gone over in seven of their last 10 overall. Calgary has gone under in four of their last five games at home. Tampa Bay has won seven of the last nine meetings between these two teams in Calgary.
We like that trend most of all, especially considering Calgary has been playing poorly at home of late. Take Tampa Bay to win, 5-1.
Other Games to Watch
- Colorado Avalanche vs. Edmonton Oilers
Colorado has won 10 of their last 13, but that is a deceiving statistic as they had a 10 game winning streak and have now lost their last three. The Avalanche have won only 12 of their last 52 road games. The Oilers have won four of their last five games.
The road team has won four of the last five meetings between these two teams but that will not be the case here. Take Edmonton to win, 4-3.
- Montréal Canadiens (+130) vs. Carolina Hurricanes (-150)
Montréal has won only two of their last eight games and has won only one of their last seven games on the road. Carolina has won their last eight games against teams with a losing record. The Canadians have won only one of the last five meetings between these two teams.
We like those odds, so take Carolina at home, 3-1.
- Philadelphia Flyers vs. New Jersey Devils
Philadelphia has won seven of their last eight games against teams with a winning record and has won eight of their last 10 overall. The Flyers are 4-1 in their last five road games. New Jersey has won only one of their last five games and won only one of their last five home games. The Flyers have won only nine of the last 28 meetings between these two teams, but knowing they are just two points behind the Devils in the standings, we look for that to be a big inspiration. Take Philadelphia, 5-3.
