NFL Week 6 Picks – Super Six
- Updated: October 13, 2011
NFL week six is here and the Super Six is locked and loaded in a big week of football.
Each week, exclusively at Bangthebook.com I will release the Super Six in the NFL. This will be the top six football betting games that the NFL has to offer. Last week the picks were on fire finishing 4-1-1 and now the overall record is 17-12-1(59%). The record is creeping closer to 60% and hope to eclipse that number this week with these gems.
Here are the Super Six picks for week five:
Indianapolis Colts at Cincinnati Bengals
The Indianapolis Colts are playing better, but still not winning, while the Cincinnati Bengals are quietly playing great football. This game is a mismatch, but public bettors are still backing the Colts at over 86%! The Bengals are 7-1 ATS in the last eight games overall and 7-0 against the spread in their last seven when they play the AFC. The Bengals cover easy, don’t worry about dropping the points.
New Orleans Saints vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The New Orleans Saints are on the road for the third straight week. The Bucs are at home and will be motivated to make up for a poor performance from a week ago. The Saints are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 vs. NFC South and the Buccaneers are 6-2 ATS in their last eight games as an underdog. Tampa rebounds with a big win in weeks six.
Dallas Cowboys at New England Patriots
The Dallas Cowboys are coming off a bye week and will be ready to roll against the New England Patriots. The Cowboys are rested and healthy with Dez Bryant and Miles Austin back in the lineup. The Cowboys are 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 road games and 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games as an underdog. They may not win outright, but this is too many points to pass up.
Buffalo Bills at New York Giants
Picking winners in the NFL starts with emotion. The Buffalo Bills run into an embarrassed Giants team who were humiliated at home a week ago. This line is smaller because of that and the Giants are just asking to cover the small number at home. The Giants are 22-8-1 ATS in their last 31 games in October and 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a double-digit loss at home. The Giants rebound with a big win and cover the number.
Philadelphia Eagles at Washington Redskins
Just when you count out a team in the NFL, they come back to bite you. The Eagles had four interceptions a week ago and still almost won the game. Now everyone is counting them out as they go up against the revised Redskins. The Eagles are 13-6 ATS in their last 19 road games against a team with a winning home record and get a big win to show the NFL they still could make the playoffs.
Miami Dolphins vs. New York Jets
The Dolphins have yet to win a game on the season and have to go n the road to take on the New York Jets. The Jets have looked horrible, but are expected to feast on the fish on Monday Night Football. The Jets are not playing well enough to give this many points to any team. The Road team is 7-1-1 ATS in their last 9 meetings and the underdog has cashed recently in this series. Take the points in this game as the Fins could pull off the upset.
