NFL Super Contest Picks From the Las Vegas Hilton Week 7


The Super Contest sponsored by the great folks at the Las Vegas Hilton have put together the biggest and best collection of handicappers all vying for the title of the champion of the most prestigious football picking contest in the world. Each week at Bangthebook we will cover the standings, the weekly picks and a quick look at the consensus.

In week six a whopping seven players registered a perfect 5-0 record. Since it is still early a 5-0 record is enough to propel players to the top of the leaderboard.

HEISENBERG currently sits at the top spot with a 22-8 record and 22 overall points. His 5-0 record last week kept him a half point ahead of the other challengers. Sitting with 21.5 points is VLBD in second place and BILL REISER in the third spot.

The fourth and fifth spots are held by SULLY SPORTS and MAKIN DOUGH respectively both ties with 21 points. Her at Bang the Book we posted yet another winning record with a successful 4-1 weekend we now sit at 19 points well within striking distance of the leaders.

Heading into week 7 the picks are up and the consensus picks include a mixture of favorites and underdogs.

The Cincinnati Bengals got 209 picks for week seven as they play the Steelers on Sunday night football. This is tied with the Washington Redskins as the most popular picks on the board, both dogs, for week 7. The Dallas Cowboys come in at third with 207 selections over the Carolina Panthers. Rounding out the top five is the Cleveland Browns at fourth with 190 picks and the St. Louis Rams at fifth with 189 picks.

For week 7 at Bang The Book we have used the following picks: Browns +3, Bengals +2.5, Buccaneers +2.5, Rams +5.5, and Cardinals +6.5.
