NFL Opening Line Report Week 13
- Updated: November 29, 2011
Week 13 in the NFL is pressure time for many of the teams in the NFL looking to make the post season. Many teams are in a must win situation as they take one last shot at making the playoffs.
Here is a look at some of the opening NFL lines for week 13 along with movement and public consensus.
Indianapolis Colts vs. New England Patriots (-21)
The Indianapolis Colts seem like they have given up on the season and have yet to win a game on the season. So it comes as no surprise that they are 21 point underdogs to the red hot New England Patriots. The Patriots are getting 73% of the early action and should easily beat the Colts, but they may not cover this big number.
NY Jets vs. Washington Redskins (+3)
Both of these teams kept their slim playoff hopes alive with a win a week ago. Now in what has to be considered an elimination game, the Jets go to Washington to take on the Redskins. The Jets opened up as 3.5 point favorites and the line is now set at three although over 80% of the public is on New York.
Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
The Cincinnati Bengals will try to beat the Steelers in the second meeting of the season. The Steelers opened up as 7 point favorites and have been bet down to 6.5.This is due to the 60% of public support on the road team. The Bengals are playing better football, but it will be a tough task to beat Pittsburgh at home.
