The Bills are not getting any respect for the moves that they have made in the offseason. When it comes to the AFC East all of the talking heads in the National Football League are looking at the New England Patriots to stay on top or for the Miami Dolphins to have a resurgent season, but no one outside of a 50 mile radius from Buffalo is thinking the Bills have a shot.
The Bills started by making big noise in the draft as they aggressively moved up to take wide receiver Sammy Watkins. Watkins is the real deal and he will be a mainstay in Buffalo fort years to come. Along with the young gun slinger, EJ Manuel, the Bills have put a formidable offensive tandem on the field that will strike fear into the opponent’s hearts for years to come.

The Bills also cleared out the cancer in the locker room as they traded away loud mouthed wide out Stevie Johnson to the San Francisco 49ers. This move sent him to the NFC and showed the remaining players that if you do not buy into the transformation, you will be sent packing.
Finally the Bills built a beefy offensive line that will be one of the best in the league this season.
The Bills have a very good defense that is ready to make some noise this season.
The Bills are very respectable on defense but they will have to survive the season without one of their best players. Star linebacker Kiko Alonso, who tore his ACL this offseason, will likely miss the entire season which should be a cause for concern for the Bills. Alonso recorded 159 tackles, four interceptions, five pass deflections, two sacks and two fumble recoveries a year ago. That will be difficult to replace, but the Bills have a young and aggressive defense that will be up for the challenge. This defense is only getting better and the Bills will provide a ferocious front for opposing passers. The defense is intense already in OTA’s as they are jawing and practicing hard, showing that they are ready to make an impact this season.
The Bills have gotten little respect in recent seasons but all of that is about to change. When the dust settles at the end of the season, the Bills will be back on top and will have won the AFC East.
