ncaab betting trends january 1TRENDS OF THE DAY

There are no “New Year new me” types of resolution here because we’ll continue with what we do in this article, namely identifying the ways for you to earn some extra cash from your bookie by identifying best possible tips having in mind the trends of the matchups that are on the menu. On the first day of the year 2018, there will be ten games for us to examine, but if you want to check it out more thoroughly, you can do it here. Let’s take a closer look.

Ten games are: Quinnipiac (4-9) at Siena (4-10), Florida National (13-6) at Stetson (7-8), Youngstown St. (2-11) at Cleveland St. (3-10), Alabama A&M (0-13) at Grambling State (4-9), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (0-14) at Mississippi Valley State (0-13), West Virginia (12-1) at Kansas State (11-2), Alcorn St. (4-9) at Prairie View A&M (3-11), Alabama St. (0-12) at Jackson State (3-10), Texas (9-4) at Iowa State (9-3) and Southern (4-9) at Texas Southern (0-13).

• The Jaguars are 7-2 in their last nine games vs. Southwestern Athletic.
The Southern Jaguars should continue with their ATS domination in conference matchups from next year. The fact that they are facing the 0-13 team, Texas Southern Tigers who are also 2-6 ATS in last eight games overall should keep them above in this battle of cats.

• The Tigers are 1-7 ATS in their last eight Monday games.
The Jackson St. Tigers are the clear favorite against the winless Alabama State Hornets but the line that will favor them greatly opens the potential for guests ATS win, especially if we take into the consideration the fact that the Hornets are 4-1 ATS in their last five games following a straight up loss (last five games overall).

• The Golden Lions are 4-12 in their last 16 road games.
The good news is that after Monday, one of these teams (Arkansas-Pine Bluff Golden Lions and Mississippi Valley State Delta Devils) will have one straight up win, while the other will remain winless. When it comes to the ATS, the trends go strongly on the home team’ side because the Delta Devils are 7-0 ATS in their last seven games overall.

• The Bulldogs are 5-17-1 in their last 23 road games.
Visiting ATS wins are not something in what the Alabama A&M Bulldogs excel, although they obviously don’t excel in anything this season, having in mind their 0-13 straight up record. On the other side, the Grambling State Tigers are 9-4 ATS in their last 13 games vs. Southwestern Athletic.

• The Penguins are 2-9 ATS in their last 11 games overall.
Excluding some negative ATS records, by my opinion, the Cleveland St. Vikings have good a solid chance to take down the Youngstown St. Penguins who are also 1-5 ATS in their last six matches vs. a team with a winning home record. On the other side, the Vikings are 4-1 ATS in their last five games vs. a squad with a losing straight up record.

• Under is 19-7 in Longhorns last 26 road games vs. a team with a winning home record.
The Texas Longhorns against the Iowa State Cyclones should be one of the most interesting duels today. It also has a high potential to go Under because, besides aforementioned trend, Under is also 9-2 in Longhorns last 11 vs. a team with a winning straight up record. On the other side, Under is 9-3 in Cyclones last 12 Monday games.

• Under is 6-0 in Braves last six games following a straight up loss of more than 20 points.
The matchup between Alcorn St. Braves and Prairie View A&M is the Under in advance. If I needed to choose one of the ten matchups today that will go Under, it would be this game. The Braves are also 4-1 in Under in last five overall and they are meeting the squad that has an exact record in last five games vs. a team with a winning % below .400.

• Over is 9-3 in Wildcats last 12 games vs. a team with a winning straight up record.
The No. 10 West Virginia Mountaineers are going to lock horns with always tough Kansas State Wildcats and the wisest thing here is to avoid the ATS segment and go for Totals. Besides aforementioned Wildcats’ trend, the Mountaineers on the other side are 8-3 in Over in last 11 showdowns vs. a team with a winning straight up record.

• Under is 19-7 in Bobcats last 26 games following a straight up win.
The final suggestion for today comes in the Quinnipiac Bobcats versus Siena Saints matchup. Like most today’s games, this one also shows some great potential to be a low-scoring one. Besides being 4-0 in Under in last four games following an ATS win, we have to take into the consideration that the Bobcats are facing the Saints who are 3-0-1 in Under in last four overall.
