We fall to 30-19 on Saturday, as the Heat and Magic easily went over the total and now have a decent-sized slate of games on Sunday’s schedule.
Chicago at Washington: The Wizards are favored by 7.5 and the total has climbed slightly to 212.5, as the Bulls are 9-3 over their last 12 games and scoring 109 points over that time span. My numbers haven’t kept pace with the Bulls, as I have this one 111-101 in favor of the Wizards.
Minnesota at Indiana: The Timberwolves are favored by 2 and the total is 209, while I have this one 110-109 for the Pacers. Minnesota is on a 14-6 overall run and 10-3 following a loss, while the Pacers are 9-7 after a loss, so will tab the over 209 for today’s play.
Brooklyn at Boston: The Celtics are -10 with a total of 209 and I have this one 110-105 for Boston. The Nets are on a 4-13 overall run and 3-11 as an underdog in their last 14 games. Brooklyn is also just 4-8 after a victory, while the Celtics are 14-13 after a victory.
Dallas at Oklahoma City: The Thunder are favored by 6 with a total of 203 and I have this one 108-99 for Oklahoma City.
Memphis at Sacramento: The Kings are favored by 2 with a total of 194 and I have this one 97-94 for the visitors.
LA Lakers at Houston: The Rockets are favored by 15 and the total is 227.5 in an obvious revenge game for Houston. I made this one 117-108 for Houston and both teams are in some over trends, with the Lakers going 8-1 in their last nine games and 7-0 in their last seven as an underdog, while the Rockets are 10-2 in their last 12 and have seen their last five games as a home favorite go over the total. The Rockets are 6-2 after a loss, while Los Angeles has gone 12-10 after losing.
Charlotte at LA Clippers: The Clippers have been bet up to 3 in this one and the total is holding pretty steady at 213. My numbers have it 112-106 for Los Angeles, as the Clippers have gone over the total in each of their last four games.
Philadelphia at Phoenix: The 76ers are favored by 3 and the total has climbed slightly to 221 after opening at 220. I made this one 115-110 for the 76ers.
