A late scoring push between the Bucks and Rockets moved us to 28-10 on the season with our NBA totals plays of the day and we have a fairly small schedule Sunday, with just four games on the schedule, highlighted by a decent Eastern Conference matchup between the Cleveland Cavs and Washington Wizards.
Sacramento at Toronto: The Raptors are favored by 13 and the total has dropped from 206 to 204.5 in a bit of a reverse line move. The Kings have posted a 9-3 totals record in their last 12 road games and I have this one 115-98 in favor of Toronto. The Kings are 10-8 after a loss and the Raptors are 8-10 after a win, but have gone 5-4 at home after a victory, as they’re a slightly different team in front of the home fans. The teams played a 102-87 contest last week in Sacramento, which may be partially responsible for the move. Still, with the trends supporting the numbers, will go ahead and make the over our play for today.
Orlando at Detroit: The Pistons are favored by 10.5 and the total has climbed several points to 203.5, while I made this one 109-101 for Detroit. The Magic are on a 7-2 run as underdogs, but the Pistons have been an under machine lately, with an 0-8-1 record over their last nine games, so with conflicting trends like that, will stay far away from this one.
Indiana at Brooklyn: The Pacers are favored by 3.5 and the total has moved to 218.5, while I have this one 115-111 in favor of Indiana. The Nets are on a 2-8 run and am not anxious to run head-first into such a trend, so will be passing on this one, as well.
Cleveland at Washington: Interesting game, as the Wizards have seen a huge move in their favor, with Washington now favored by 2 points. The total on the game has moved from 213 to 214. I have Cleveland winning this one 110-105. The Cavs are 9-11-1 after a victory and the Wizards are 5-10 following a victory.
