A few early games today, but we’ll go with one of the later games, just since I usually come out after the lines are a bit more settled, so we’ll get right to it.
Lakers at Dallas: The Mavs are favored by 4.5 with a total of 213.5, while I made this one 107-100 for Dallas, but am hesitant to take Dallas under for a while, as they’ve been playing higher-scoring games lately.
Sacramento at Clippers: The Clippers are favored by 6.5 and the total is up to 217, while I made this one 110-98 for the Clippers.
Oklahoma City at Charlotte: The Thunder are favored by 1.5 and the total is 211.5, while I made this one 108-98 for the Hornets. The Thunder are 7-2 in their last nine games as favorites.
Brooklyn at Washington: The Wizards are favored by 9.5 and the total is 215.5, while I have this one 114-107 for the Wizards. Washington is 7-1 in their last eight home games, while going just 8-15 following a victory, so with conflicting trends, will have to pass on this one.
Golden State at Toronto: The Warriors are favored by 4.5 in a slight reverse line move, while the total on the game is up slightly to 226. I made this one 113-113, so nothing in that regard. The Warriors are 14-16-3 after a win, but 4-0-1 in their last five attempts. The Raptors are 14-14 after a win, but 4-1 in their last five. The Warriors are 12-4-1 when the total is 225 or higher, while the Raptors are 2-0 when playing with a total of 225 or greater, so will have to play the over, even though it’s a bit high.
Detroit at Chicago: Favorites have reversed here, and now the Pistons are favored by 1 and the total on the game is 209 after opening at 207. I have this one at 100-100 and we have conflicting trends, with Detroit going 4-14-2 in their last 20 games on the road and the Bulls being in a 15-4 overall run in their last 19.
Denver at San Antonio: The Spurs are favored by 7 and the total has dropped several points to 204. I have this one at 111-103 for San Antonio, who are 7-7 following a loss. The Nuggets are 9-12 after a win and will be without Milsap, while Leonard is questionable for San Antonio.
