NBA Sports Betting Picks: Detroit Pistons at Chicago Bulls
- Updated: January 10, 2011
The week in the NBA gets started off with a big clash between two heated divisional rivals as the Detroit Pistons take on the Chicago Bulls.
The latest NBA odds as posted by BetDSI has the Chicago Bulls has favorites for this early week tipoff.
The Chicago Bulls will look to start the week off right by getting a win and building on the great play in the last game against the Boston Celtics. The Bulls won 90-79 over the defending Eastern Conference Champions with solid defense. On offense Rose scored 36 points, Carlos Boozer added 22 points and 10 rebounds, and the Chicago Bulls cooled off the Celtics. Now they will turn their focus to the Pistons.
The Pistons are 12 games behind the Bulls in the standings, but it is still early in the season and anything can happen. After getting swept on a road trip out West, the Pistons returned home to take down the Philadelphia 76ers by just three points, in a close 112-109 win. The Pistons have just three wins on the road this year and a victory over the Bulls would go a long way into turning the season around.
The Bulls are 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a SU win of more than 10 points and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 when their opponent allows 100 points or more in their previous game. The Pistons are 18-5 ATS in their last 23 after allowing 100 points or more in their previous game and 20-41-1 ATS in their last 62 against the NBA Central.
The Pistons need this win to keep climbing up the division and standings. They catch the Bulls in a huge letdown spot after a big win over Boston and could sneak out the upset victory.
Play on the Pistons
