A bit of a smaller slate for today, as we’ll return to more looking at the line movement, as the system plays are getting hammered going against reverse moves, as was the case once again last night. Definitely something to correct during the offseason, as well as a few other tighteners.
Arizona at Mets: The Diamondbacks are -142 with Robbie Ray in a game where the Mets are showing a little bit of reverse line movement. Arizona is getting 85% of the wagers in the game, although that will come down a bit. If I were going to play, I’d lean to Montero.
Miami at Philadelphia: Another game with some reverse line movement and 80% of the wagers coming in on the road favorite. The Marlins opened -129 and are down to -121, so again, would lean to Thompson and Phillies as home dogs against Worley.
Dodgers at Pirates: The Dodgers are -158 with Ryu facing Kuhl and the line hasn’t moved much since opening Los Angeles -160 and the Dodgers getting three-fourths of the wagers.
Cubs at Cincinnati: Romano has had the wise guys following him a little bit lately, although thery look to be a bit quiet in this one, as Arrieta and the Cubs are holding at -175.
San Diego at St. Louis: The Cardinals are -220 with Garcia over Perdomo and the number hasn’t really moved much.
Yankees at Detroit: The Tigers are getting a little bit of action and Fulmer is now -110 over Garcia in a case of slight reverse movement.
Toronto at Tampa Bay: The Rays and Cobb are -111 over Koehler and the Blue Jays in a game only a few outlets are carrying right now.
Boston at Cleveland: The Indians are getting some respect here and Sale is down to -164 over Bauer in a game I’d lean to the home dog.
Minnesota at White Sox: Berrios and the Twins are -175 over Holland and the White Sox in a game that really hasn’t moved since its opening.
Texas at Angels: Scribner and the Angels are -126 over Perez and the Rangers in a game that has seen little movement.
Colorado at Kansas City: The Royals are down to -107 with Junis over Marquez, as the Rockies are getting the bulk of wagers in this one.
Washington at Houston: Good match-up with Strasburg and Keuchel opposing each other and the Astros are down to -137 in a game where the betting is pretty well split.
Plays: Mets +132, Indians +149
