The NBA action continues with eight games on Sunday, December 4, including this inter-conference clash, and here you can get the best Grizzlies vs. Pistons betting pick and odds.

Detroit is looking to conclude its four-game home stand with a win when they welcome Memphis at Little Caesars Arena. The Grizzlies are -7.5 favorites on BetOnline Sportsbook, while the total is set at 232 points. These inter-conference rivals met twice last season, and the Grizzlies won both games.

Grizzlies beat the 76ers at home

The Memphis Grizzlies (13-9, 9-13-0 ATS) won three of the last four games. Although they suffered a road loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Grizzlies bounced back at home against the Philadelphia 76ers. Despite shooting 43.3% from the field, Memphis dominated rebounds (57-42) and secured a 117-109 victory in the end.

Ja Morant led the Grizzlies with 28 points and eight rebounds. Jaren Jackson Jr. added 22 points, nine boards, and game-high four blocks, Dillon Brooks scored 17 with four rebounds and four assists, while Steven Adams had nine points, game-high 16 rebounds, team-high six dimes, game-high three steals, and three rejections.

SG Desmond Bane (toe), SG Danny Green (knee), and SF Ziaire Williams (knee) are out indefinitely. SF Jake LaRavia (foot) is questionable to play on Sunday against Detroit.

Pistons defeated the Mavs in OT

The Detroit Pistons (6-18, 12-10-2 ATS) snapped a three-game losing skid with a 131-125 overtime victory against the Dallas Mavericks at home. Detroit opened a four-game home stint with a couple of defeats to the Cavaliers and Knicks but bounced back against the Mavs. Dallas closed the regulation with an 8-0 run to force OT, but the hosts were better and deservedly got a 131-125 victory. The Pistons completely outjumped the visitors (52-30), which decided this tilt.

Bojan Bogdanovic led the Pistons with 30 points, four rebounds, four assists, and two steals. Killian Hayes added 22 points, team-high eight assists, and four boards, Marvin Bagley recorded a double-double of 19 points and game-high 13 rebounds, while Jaden Ivey had 16 points and six dimes.

PG Cade Cunningham (shin) and SF Isaiah Livers (shoulder) are out indefinitely and will not feature on Sunday against the Grizzlies.

Memphis Grizzlies vs. Detroit Pistons Pick

Memphis perhaps lost five of the previous nine games but is facing one of the weakest teams in the NBA, and I’ve no doubts the Grizzlies will beat the Pistons without problems. Detroit has the second-worst defense in the league that is allowing 118.0 points per game and the second-worst in net rating with -8.0 points. Without Cade Cunningham, I don’t think the hosts can resist Ja Morant and the Grizzlies, who are better in every segment of basketball.

Pick: Take the Grizzlies at -7.5 (-110)

The Total

Memphis scored 125+ points in two of the last four games and considering the Pistons’ league-worst defensive rating of 118.6 points allowed per 100 possessions, I think the visitors can score 120+ here. The Grizzlies’ defense is not so great, they are currently 17th with 113.8 points per game, which is a chance for the Pistons to score 110+ points. They managed to do that in six of the last eight games. Over is 5-2 in the Grizzlies’ last seven overall, while Over is 9-3-1 in the Pistons’ previous 13 home games.

Pick: Go Over 232 points (-110)
