Game six of a Western Conference Second Round series is set for Friday night when the Golden State Warriors visit the Los Angeles Lakers. Golden State took care of business at home and stayed alive, but it will be a much tougher task to steal one on the road in Los Angeles. Below is my NBA pick for the Golden State Warriors vs Los Angeles Lakers.

Golden State Warriors vs Los Angeles Lakers Betting Pick

The Pick: Los Angeles Lakers -3.0

This game will be played at crypto.com Arena at 10:00 p.m. on Friday, May 11, 2023.

Why Bet the Los Angeles Lakers:

✅ Los Angeles has been good of late and have covered the spread in six of their last nine games played.

✅ The Lakers have covered the spread in each of their last five games overall and each of their last five games against the Warriors.

✅ Golden State has covered the spread in just two of their last six games against Los Angeles.

Golden State Warriors Are Staying Alive

Golden State has to win three games in a row to stay alive in the playoffs and it got started off on the right foot. The Warriors took care of business, at home, in game five and will now look to grab a rare road win in another do or die game six. Golden State will be feeling confident after their 121-106-win Wednesday night.

The Warriors were comfortable in their game five win as they led by four points after the first quarter and grew that lead 11 points by the half. Los Angeles was able to keep it close and grab the lead for a bit of the second quarter, but it was all Warriors in the second half. The teams tied in the third quarter, but the Warriors were able to close things out by winning the fourth quarter and grabbing the 15-point victory.

We saw a vintage Draymond Green game as he had 20 points, 10 rebounds, four assists, two steals, and one block on the night. Andrew Wiggins added 25 points, seven rebounds, and five assists in the game five win.

The Los Angeles Lakers Need to End it Friday

Los Angeles probably did not expect to finish off this series in game five, so they will not be holding their heads after the defeat. The Lakers just need to take care of business at home and they will be in yet another Western Conference Finals.

In the game five loss, LeBron James had 25 points and nine rebounds. Anthony Davis added 23 points, nine rebounds, and three assists on the night.
