The 2022 NBA Playoffs continue Tuesday, May 24, with Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals between Golden State and Dallas, so we bring you the best Warriors vs. Mavericks betting pick along with the latest odds update on Bookmaker Sportsbook.
The Warriors are one step away from the 2022 NBA Finals. They open as slight 1-point road underdogs for Game 4 at American Airlines Center, while the Mavericks are listed as -115 moneyline favorites with a total of 215.5 points.
The Dubs are building another dynasty
The Golden State Warriors are one win away from their sixth NBA Finals appearance in eight years. Last Sunday, they outlasted the Mavericks 109-100 as 3-point road dogs to grab a 3-0 series lead. The Dubs scored 61 points in the second half and didn’t allow the Mavs any chance down the stretch.
Golden State played excellent defense in Game 3. The Warriors also controlled the glass, posting 14 offensive rebounds. They outscored the Mavericks in the paint 46-34 while making 46.9% of their field goals.
Stephen Curry led the charge with 31 points and 11 assists. Andrew Wiggins accounted for 27 points, 11 rebounds, and a plus-22 net rating, while Draymond Green posted a line of ten points, five boards, five dimes, two steals, and a block.
The Mavs continue to struggle on both sides of the ball
The Dallas Mavericks fell apart in Game 1, suffering a 112-87 defeat at Chase Center in San Francisco. They improved offensive-wise in Game 2 but lost 126-117, but Game 3 saw another bad day in the office.
The Mavs shot only 40.0% from the field and 28.9% from beyond the 3-point line last Sunday. Luka Doncic had another 40-point display after dropping 42 points on the Dubs in Game 2, finishing Game 3 with 40 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists.
Spencer Dinwiddie had 26 points at home, and Jalen Brunson added 20, but the rest of the team didn’t help at all. Reggie Bullock and Maxi Kleber both went scoreless, combining to shoot 0-for-15 from the field.
Trends:
Golden State:
- 4-1 ATS in the last five games overall
- 5-2 ATS in the last seven games played in May
Dallas:
- 4-8 ATS in the last 12 games played in May
- 2-4 ATS in the last six games against Golden State
Golden State Warriors vs. Dallas Mavericks Pick
The Mavericks will try to become the first team in NBA Playoffs history to overcome a 3-0 deficit, but that’s not going to happen given the way they’ve played over the previous three games. Dallas struggles to cope with the Warriors’ frontcourt, while the Mavs’ role players continue to slump big time.
On the other side, the Warriors own plenty of experience and should finish the job in Game 4 to earn some extra days to rest. Their defense has dominated the Mavericks so far this series.
Pick: Take Golden State Warriors +1.0 at -110
The Total:
Two of the previous three dates between Golden State and Dallas have gone under the total. The under is 4-2 in the Warriors’ last six contests, 6-2 in the Mavs’ previous eight, and 5-0 in Dallas’ last five showings on the home court.
I’ve mentioned many times this season that Dallas loves to play at a slow pace. Hereof, I would ride those betting trends and take the under in Tuesday’s Game 4.
Pick: Go under 215.5 points at -110
