The Cleveland Cavaliers will try and stay unbeaten as they host the Boston Celtics on Thursday night in a game that can be seen on TNT. The Cavaliers have a number of advantages in this contest as they are rested while the Celtics had to play on Wednesday night, the Cavaliers rarely lose at home and Boston will be without Al Horford who is dealing with concussion symptoms. Let’s look at the contest and free NBA picks.
The Celtics visit the Cavaliers on Thursday, November 3rd with a start time of 8 pm Eastern on TNT.
Boston will not have one of their top players on Thursday night as Al Horford will not play. Head coach Brad Stevens said that Horford suffered a concussion on Monday. “One of his teammates swiped at the ball and hit Al in the head. Right after, from everything I was told by Al and the training staff, he felt good Monday night.” Stevens said, “He came to practice Tuesday and was cleared, but once we started and he was moving around, after a few drills he felt pretty nauseous. He’ll be out the next two nights.”
Horford is averaging 12 points, 5.3 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game.
