Here is the MLB Picks for Saturday, July 12th, 2014.
New York Yankees at Baltimore Orioles
The New York Yankees look as though their season is lost when their best pitcher got hurt, but they are not going anywhere. In a series against the Baltimore Orioles the Yankees will get plenty of value as an underdog to include in this game. The Orioles are 3-7 in their last 10 home games when they go up against a team with a winning road record and the Yankees are more focused now more than ever. Look for a big win by the pinstripes as they look to make a statement before heading into the break.
Free MLB Pick: New York Yankees +121
Chicago White Sox at Cleveland Indians
For the second game on the Saturday docket we are going to go with an early game between the Chicago White Sox and the Cleveland Indians. Both teams would love nothing more than to go into the break with a series win against a rival. Zach Mcallister got beat up in his last few starts but he has done very well in his career against the White Sox. He has yet to yield over three runs in his last seven starts against the White Sox. The under is 5-0 in the last 5 meetings and 18-6-2 in White Sox last 26 games when they go up against a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30. Look for a low scoring game in the afternoon between these two teams.
Free MLB Pick: Chicago White Sox at Cleveland Indians Under 9 -105
Minnesota Twins at Colorado Rockies
This play may seem like it is going out on a limb, but how on earth are the Rockies this big of a favorite against anyone in baseball? Kevin Correia has pitched well but lacks run support which the Twins will get against Tyler Matzek, the starter for the Rockies. The Rockies are 7-25 in their last 32 interleague games when they go up against a right-handed starter and they should not be favored against anyone.
Free MLB Pick: Minnesota Twins +145
