Hi Finance, has the requirements for these contests on BTB changed? Does the account have to be funded 30 days before winning the contest? I thought if you won, 75 points would be deducted from your BTB points. I got a message from Spooky Express today that I won a prize but my account would not be credited since I did not satisfy the requirements. Some clarification on the requirements here would help. I do enjoy these contests but it would be really disheartening if I don’t satisfy the requirements again. Thanks!

[FONT=’3′]The NFL Playoff contest has always had the requirement to be active and funded. Never has been different. It is and has been listed on the message board numerous times (please read to validate), also the rules are posted on the rules page along with numerous emails and also here at the forum. While we offer numerous contests here at BangtheBook where you are able to utilize your loyalty points there are other contests we offer that require you to be active and funded. The object of many of these contests is to reward everyone that is funding their accounts. Please review the contest message board and rules and see our post below indicating same. Thank you.

Message board posts over and over again.

See the contest post here back on December 25th with the rules and requirements.

Thanks for the update and clarification, Spooky! My bad for not reading all the follow-up emails later in the season. I just remembered the first email early in the season with the 75 points deduction rule for winning any prizes. I didn’t realize that it was no longer valid. Will keep in mind the new funding guidelines for March Madness contests.

No worries Spid. Yes throughout the regular season they did indeed allow points to be utilized for prizes. But after issuing over $15,000 for NFL and CFB contests and then $2,000 for CFB Bowl contest they felt it was necessary that guys fund at some point to continue receiving these prizes.

Again keep on posting here at the forum, receive your loyalty points to be eligible for numerous contests and just fund your account as everyone should be doing on a consistent basis to stay eligible for more contests, promotions and bonuses.

    Thanks again for understanding. 🙂
