The best two words in all of sports is set to happen Sunday night when the Florida Panthers visit the Boston Bruins for game seven of this Eastern Conference series. Boston was sitting comfortably up 3-1 in this series, but the Panthers have continued to fight and now it is winner-takes-all. Below is my NHL pick for the Panthers vs Bruins.

Florida Panthers vs Boston Bruins Betting Pick

The Pick: Boston Bruins -250 @ BetAnySports

This game will be played at TD Garden at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2023.

Why Bet the Boston Bruins:

✅ Boston has blown a 3-1 series lead, but they still have won 16 of their last 20 games played.

✅ The Bruins were a historic home team during the regular season having win 35 of their 44 games.

✅ At TD Garden, Florida has lost five of their last seven games against Boston.

Florida Panthers Looking to Complete the Comeback

Florida was at home last weekend and just went down 3-1 in this series, but they kept their spirits high and nine days later they will be looking to win this series. The Panthers went into Boston and won 4-3 in overtime, and then went back home and won a 7-5 thriller Friday night.

In game six, there was plenty of action and it started early with the Panthers grabbing a 1-0 lead just two minutes into the game. Boston answered a few minutes late, but Florida took a 2-1 lead into the first intermission. The Bruins tied the game up early in the second period, but again the Panthers answered and led 3-2 after two. It was a wild third period the saw Boston comeback and take the lead, twice, but it was Florida who scored three goals in the final 10 minutes to keep their season alive. A wild game six.

Matthew Tkachuk, two goals, was joined on the scoresheet by Brandon Montour, Aleksander Barkov, Zac Dalpe, Eetu Luostarinen, and Sam Reinhart. 10 different Panthers players recorded an assist in the game six win.

The Boston Bruins Hoping to Avoid the Collapse

Boston is looking to avoid the President’s Cup curse and blowing a 3-1 series lead. TD Garden will be tense on Sunday night, and it will be interesting to see what the Bruins do in net after a poor performance from Linus Ullmark in game six.

David Pastrnak and Tyler Bertuzzi both had two goals on the night, and they were joined on the scoresheet by Jake DeBrusk. Six different Bruins recorded an assist on the night, and they were led by Brad Marchand and his four assists.
