College Football Week 11 Odds: A Look at Opening Lines
- Updated: November 6, 2012
The college football odds for week 11 are out and it is interesting to see what games offer value. The sharp bettors and college football handicappers look at betting lines the minute that they are released as they try and find value and hit the lines before they move based on money coming in on a certain side. Here are a few of the opening lines on some of the biggest games of the week.
The Tide got one of the biggest wins of the year, but they cannot rest as they head home to host the Texas A&M Aggies. The Aggies are not as good as LSU but they are still ranked in the Top 25. The Aggies opened up as 15 point dogs and that number will only go up as Nick Saban and Alabama are one of the favorite teams for the public to bet on.
Les Miles and the LSU Tigers are more than likely going to get a good share of the public betting. They host another SEC opponent in the Mississippi State Bulldogs. The Bulldogs are also ranked in the Top 25 and should provide LSU a challenge. Despite the top-ranking the Bulldogs are still double digit favorites as the Tigers are giving 14 points at home on Saturday night.
Finally in another battle of top 25 teams, the Oklahoma State Cowboys are 8 point favorites over the West Virginia Mountaineers. This game should provide plenty of fireworks as both squads have high powered offenses and suspect defenses.
These are just some of the early odds released on the big schedule of games for Week 11. For a full list of week 11 Odds Click HERE
