This is probably the single best slate of college football games so far this year. You won’t want to miss out on this week’s action!
BangtheBook offered a trends to consider article during the baseball season, and now we’ll be having a college football trends to consider article during the football season as well. This will give bettors a good look at some of the most important trends to consider before placing a bet this week. Let’s look at trends to consider for games this coming weekend.
-Oregon has been a covering machine of late. The Ducks are 14-2 ATS in their last 16 games despite having to cover some big numbers during that time. Stanford has brought their best against top teams in the recent past. The Cardinal are 18-8 ATS in their last 26 games against a team with a winning record.
-The Auburn Tigers are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games overall. They’ll be in Tennessee to take on the Volunteers this week. Tennessee is 5-13-1 ATS in their last 19 games when playing against a team with a winning record. The road team is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 meetings between these two.
-The 7-2 Minnesota Golden Gophers host Penn State in a key game in the Big Ten on Saturday. Minnesota just keeps defying the odds and getting the job done despite being short on talent. The Golden Gophers are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games. Penn State is 0-3-1 ATS in their last 4 road games, but they are 4-0-1 ATS in their last 5 games against Minnesota.
-USC will try to keep their momentum going after a nice road win at Oregon State last week. They’ll be in Berkeley to go up against Cal this week. USC is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games at Cal. The Golden Bears are 5-17 ATS in their last 22 games overall.
-Arizona State will be in a tough environment in Utah this weekend. The Utes are never easy to beat on their home field. Utah is 7-3 ATS in their last 10 home games, and they beat Stanford at home earlier this year. Arizona State is 4-0 ATS in their last 4 conference games.
-BYU and Wisconsin meet in a very interesting non-conference game in November this weekend. Wisconsin is 19-7-1 ATS in their last 27 home games. They are 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 games. BYU is 13-5 ATS in their last 18 road games. Something has to give in this one. This should be an intriguing contest.
-Notre Dame travels to take on Pittsburgh this weekend. These teams have a long history of squaring off, and it has been the underdog that has ruled in this series. The underdog is 7-0-1 ATS in their last 8 meetings. Pittsburgh is a small underdog at home in this one.
-Nebraska was very fortunate to win last week. Michigan was demolished by rival Michigan State. The Cornhuskers are 0-8-1 ATS in their last 9 road games against a team with a winning home record. Michigan is 6-1 ATS in their last 7 home games.
-LSU has been very competitive at Alabama of late. The Tigers are 6-1-1 ATS in their last 8 games at Alabama. The under is 4-0 in the last 4 meetings between these two teams. Both teams had a bye week last weekend to prepare for this game, and it should be a very good one.
