Scrutinize the reports and uncover some hidden gems that will allow the sports bettor to make some scratch during the weekend. Here is a look at some of the games that stand out in week nine of the college football season.
Troy vs. Florida International
It’s a Tuesday night and that must mean college football. The game may not have the top teams in football, but that won’t stop folks from betting on it. The betting public is out in droves with 81% of the early money coming in at FIU. The current line is the same as the opening, FIU -6.5.
Connecticut vs. Pittsburgh
The Big East invades Wednesday nights on ESPN as college football kicks off midweek. The Panthers are playing the last year in the Big East and are 9.5 point favorites in this game. The early betting public pounded the Panthers to the tune of 65% and the line opened at 9.5 and is now at 10 in many offshore sportsbook outlets. This game will be a target for teasers with the number hanging around ten.
Wisconsin vs. Ohio State
The Wisconsin Badgers are off a huge upset loss on a last minute hail mary against Michigan State. Now they have to regroup and hope they defeat the Ohio State Buckeyes. The betting public thinks they will and 81% of the early money is on the Badgers. The line opened up at 7.5 and has been bet up to eight in many offshore sportsbook outlets.
This is just an example of a few of the line moves in week nine in college football. Check out all of the latest moves and information if you want to get an edge in betting on football.
