(13-9, 10-7 ATS)
Ohio State Buckeyes
(22-0, 10-9 ATS)
The Michigan Wolverines have done a great job getting back into the fold in the Big Ten over the course of the last week, but they are certainly going to be up against it on Thursday night when they take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in NCAA basketball betting action.

This six game losing streak is now a thing of the past for Big Blue, as it has a big time upset over the Michigan State Spartans and a dominating performance over the Iowa Hawkeyes since that point. They still need some big time victories to help out the old RPI, and this would be the grandest ‘W’ of them all against the last undefeated team in the land. Darius Morris has really been on fire of late. He has averaged 15.4 points per game this year, and he scored double figures in seven straight games. The win against Iowa was probably the biggest game of his career, as he logged a triple double with 12 points, 11 assists, and 10 boards. If there is an issue with Morris though, it is that he really doesn’t ever come out of the game and really doesn’t get a lot of help. Morris has only sat for two minutes over the course of the last two games, and for as long as the Wolverines are close, they’re going to be keeping Morris on the court. Tim Hardaway Jr. is the only other double digit point scorer on this team, and it is clear that someone else is going to really have to have a career game to take care of the Buckeyes.
Are the Buckeyes unstoppable? Hindsight 20/20, this really might be the best team in the land, though they still do have some flaws. The starting five here in Columbus is arguably the best in the country, but depth is still a bit of an issue. Jared Sullinger might be one of the best big men in the entire land, and he is certainly playing like it thus far this year. Sullinger is averaging 18.0 points and 10.0 boards per game, and there is certainly not a player on this court in maize and blue that is going to be able to stop him. Sullinger has scored at least 12 points in 11 straight games, and in that stretch, he hasn’t had a game with fewer than seven boards. Deshaun Thomas is averaging 9.2 points per game, but he put up a big, fat goose egg in a narrow win against the Northwestern Wildcats over the weekend. He’s one of the key contributors off of the bench and must be key for Ohio State to keep beating the NCAA basketball odds and to keep with its winning ways.
These Buckeyes know that they have the whole world gunning for them now, even more so now that they are the last undefeated team left in the land. Michigan is playing well right now, and though it won’t win this one, it could keep this one within a dozen or so, which should be good enough to beat the college basketball lines.
