As the NBA season moves right along the basketball bettor is adjusting to everything that is happening on the floor. Whether it is the struggle of the Cavaliers and their failure to win games against teams that they should beat, things are changing. From the surging Celtics and surprise teams with players moving on to different places there is plenty to absorb this season in the NBA.
If you bet on the NBA it may not be easy to absorb everything that is going on a nightly basis. The NBA Betting Sheet does have that information that you need so you don’t have to watch every game and you can get all of the information that you need. Here is the latest news and betting nuggets that you need to know if you plan on betting on the NBA this week.
The Cavs are a mess. They have the best player on the planet in LeBron James, but they can’t win ball games. Even worse they cannot cover this year as they have been an absolute mess this year. They are just 4-6 straight up and they are an ugly 2-8 against the spread (ATS). SO what is the problem with this team? The answer is simple. They do nto have another scorer that can take over the game. Teams are running their defense to exclusively cover LeBron James and not paying too much attention to any other player. This is not good news for a Cavs team that is struggling to find consistency. Everyone is waiting for the Cavs to flip the switch and start winning basketball games, but that may never happen.
Celtics Historically Covering
The Boston Celtics are still winning. The odds makers continue to put up bigger and bigger numbers on the Celtics and they just keep on winning. Sooner or later that is going to change, but for right now Celtics backers are fired up to keep cashing in. The Celtics become the third team since 2005 to start the season 9-1 ATS on the season. This number may be different based on the point spreads that you have but anyway that you look at it, the Celtics are cashing in early in the season.
Resting the Right Way
The NBA schedule changed this season and the major change was to adjust the schedule so that teams do not have the back to back tough spots or the five games in seven nights tough scheduling spot that caused coaches to rest their big named players in televised games to prove a point. That has changed and now teams have some serious period of rest. That includes this week. The Milwaukee Bucks will play the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night. The Bucks will have played just one game in five nights as they head into the game against the Cavs. That could be a good sign for the Bucks and the over as they will be well rested and ready to go. The Hornets will have only one game in a seven game span this week as well and the team they play after the break will also play the Cavs.
Look Out For the Lakers
The Lakers have a very young team and they will get tested this week. They have a six game road trip that includes big games against teams like the Celtics, Wizards and the Bucks. That stretch of games includes three games in four nights that ends in Milwaukee. If the Lakers are going to be a good team this year they will have to show up in this stretch of games.
