Game four of the Eastern Conference Finals is set for Tuesday night when the Boston Celtics visit the Miami Heat. This series has not gone as anyone would have expected, but this could be the end of the series with a Miami win on Tuesday. Below is my NBA pick for the Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat.

Boston Celtics vs Miami Heat Betting Pick

The Pick: Miami Heat -2.0

This game will be played at Kaseya Center at 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023.

Why Bet the Miami Heat:

✅ Miami has been great in the playoffs having covered the spread in 10 of their last 12 games played.

✅ The Heat have won seven consecutive games at home.

✅ Boston has covered the spread in just five of their last seven games overall.

Boston Celtics Should Be Embarrassed

Boston had one bad quarter in each of the first two games and it cost them in a bad way, but what their fans watched in game three should leave the franchise embarrassed. The Celtics lost the first two games, but did seem to be the better team in both of those games. That was not the case in game three and the Celtics will now have to win four games in a row if they want to make a trip back to the NBA Finals.

In game three, the Celtics played the first six minutes well, but it was all Heat after that. Miami built an eight-point advantage after the first quarter and grew that lead to 14 points at the half. It was much of the same story in the third quarter as Miami came out flying and built a 29-point lead heading into the fourth quarter. The Celtics played fine in the fourth quarter, winning it by four points, but they still were blown out, losing 128-102. Miami is now just one game away from an improbable run to the NBA Finals.

No Celtics showed up in this one, but they were led by Jayson Tatum and his 14 points, 10 rebounds, two assists, and two steals. Jaylen Brown added 12 points and six rebounds in the loss.

The Miami Heat Defy Your Eyes

Miami does not look like a special team, but the run they are currently on can only be described as special. Game three was a statement win by the Heat and they are now just one win away from knocking both the first and second seeds in the Eastern Conference. An impressive run by one of the most impressive franchises over the past 20 years.

In the game three win, Gabe Vincent went off for 29 points and three assists. Duncan Robinson came off the bench to add 22 points, two rebounds, and four assists.
