Our regular Friday show rounded out this week for us on BangTheBook Radio. Host Adam Burke shared his picks and thoughts for Week 3 of the Westgate SuperContest and also talked with Brent from DSI Sportsbook on this week’s version of The Odds Report about sharp money in the college football and NFL betting markets.
We’ve got a lot of usual content posted this week over at BangTheBook.com as well. The five P’s, as I like to call ‘em, with picks, power ratings, previews, prognostications, and predictions. We’ve got lots of college football and NFL content, to go along with previews for this weekend’s UFC, NASCAR, and soccer events. We are your one-stop shop for sports betting news and information.
Host Adam Burke opened up the show with a few thoughts and then dove right into action with his NFL picks and Week 3 thoughts for the Westgate SuperContest. After a recap of last week’s results, including the impact that the Browns had in both the SuperContest and the SuperContest Gold, Adam focused on the week ahead.
It looks like a tough week, but Adam was able to find three picks to his liking and a set of leans that are under consideration for this week’s action. He supported his picks and leans with stats, trends, situational angles, and all of the other things that go into the handicapping process in hopes of improving upon his .500 record to date.
Brent from DSI Sportsbook joined Adam once again for this week’s version of The Odds Report. Sharp money is out there in both the college football and NFL betting markets. Marquee games and some of the games that only a sharp could love were discussed on the college side, with games like Michigan vs. Wisconsin, Bowling Green vs. Kent State, and Notre Dame vs. Georgia.
There seems to be a lot of uncertainty in the NFL marketplace this week, but that is when sharp money stands out the most. A lot of sides and totals have been hit by influential bettors this week and Brent ran down a list of those games and he and Adam discussed where those lines are likely to move as we approach kickoff on Sunday.
Join us on Monday for another installment of the College Football First Look with Kyle Hunter.
