Two great guests joined us on the Thursday edition of BangTheBook Radio, as host Adam Burke brought Brad Powers and Ralph Michaels to the program on the same day to chat Sweet 16 and also project out some lines for the possible Elite Eight matchups.

Brad Powers from BradPowersSports.com was our first guest today. The guys opened up with a little bit of college football, as Brad is taking notes on the spring games, and then focused on college hoops. The Sweet 16 starts tonight, but we did it backwards on today’s show, by looking at Friday’s side of the bracket first. Adam and Brad hit Villanova vs. West Virginia, Purdue vs. Texas Tech, Kansas vs. Clemson, and Syracuse vs. Duke.
They projected out the Elite Eight lines for the possible matchups on Sunday and talked about some of their betting thoughts for those games as teams look to advance to the Final Four.
Ralph Michaels from WagerTalk.com stepped onto the proverbial court next, as we went left and talked about the Sweet 16 matchups coming up on Thursday night. Kansas State vs. Kentucky, Loyola-Chicago vs. Nevada, Florida State vs. Gonzaga, and Michigan vs. Texas A&M were the games in the spotlight during this segment.
After breaking those down, Adam and Ralph did the same with projecting Saturday’s Elite Eight lines for that set of games. Along with a look at those upcoming games, Adam and Ralph had a nice discussion about the NIT, CBI, and CIT as value is still present in those tournaments.
Join us on Friday when we chat with Bryan Leonard about his Major League Baseball preparations and with Philip-Rossman Reich on the NBA.
