It’s a shame that we didn’t have anything to talk about on the Monday edition of BangTheBook Radio. After all, nothing really happened this week, except for the craziest opening weekend of March Madness ever. Your favorite host answered listener questions during the Monday Mailbag segment and then welcomed Kyle Hunter for this week’s Handicapping the Hardwood segment.
Host Adam Burke opened up the show with some words about the great content at BangTheBook.com, including his 2018 MLB Betting Guide, an updated piece on how to hedge futures now that we’re into the Sweet 16, and more. Parker Michaels’s afternoon NHL updates have been very profitable for listeners. Doug Carson’s NBA picks are up today. We’ll have more content as we go throughout the week in advance of the Sweet 16.
Don’t forget about our free pick contests, free pick videos, stats and betting trends in the matchup data section, sportsbook reviews, and all of the other tools at your disposal. We are your one-stop shop for sports betting news and information.
Adam had a lot of questions to consider for this week’s Monday Mailbag segment. Most of them centered around hedging the NCAA Tournament futures that are still alive for our listeners. It was certainly a weird opening weekend, so a lot of futures are dead, but a lot are still standing. Listeners were also curious about bet sizing for pros.
Kyle Hunter of HunterSportsPicks.com joined us for this week’s edition of Handicapping the Hardwood. On the NCAA Tournament side, they hit on a lot of interesting talking points and recapped the weekend that was in March Madness. They looked ahead to the Sweet 16 matchups and talked a little bit about hedging futures for the remaining teams that are still standing.
They took a lot of time to break down all eight Sweet 16 games, but still managed to add a few minutes on the CBI, CIT, and NIT at the tail end of the segment.
Join us on Tuesday when we chat more college basketball and pucks with Brian Blessing and then college hoops and NBA with Tony George.
