One last edition of BangTheBook Radio for this week came your way on with a relatively new voice and some familiar Friday tones. Host Adam Burke was joined by Whale Capper to talk NFL playoffs and Friday night’s NBA card and by Brent from DSI Sportsbook for this week’s version of The Odds Report.
Host Adam Burke opened up the show by singing the praises of the hard work being done by our writers to fill our pages with content. Check out everything that we have to offer today and every day, as we are your one-stop shop for sports betting news and information.

For the second time, @whale_capper, a brilliant and well-known handicapper in the Twitter community, joined us on BangTheBook Radio. The guys touched on the NFL Divisional Round and also on the NBA card for Friday night. This weekend’s postseason action presents a lot of interesting betting angles and Whale Capper had some strong opinions on both sides and totals for these matchups. They went in depth on every game from top to bottom with Falcons vs. Eagles, Titans vs. Patriots, Jaguars vs. Steelers, and Saints vs. Vikings.
On the NBA side, the guys hit on a variety of different betting angles and considerations for some of the games on Friday night. They talked at length about Golden State vs. Milwaukee, Utah vs. Charlotte, and Memphis vs. Denver to illustrate different things for listeners to focus on when situations like these are presented.
Brent from DSI Sportsbook joined us for this week’s version of The Odds Report. Sharp money is out at DSI for three of the four NFL Divisional Round matchups, but the guys hit on all four games. After putting a bow on the college football season with some follow-up reports from the National Championship Game, the focus was solely the NFL.
Sharp money is out there for every game except for Titans vs. Patriots at DSI. With a limited number of games, Adam and Brent were able to dig deeper on each game by looking at wager counts, dollar amounts, and were able to project some line movements that could occur as we get closer to kickoff.
Join us on Monday when we look back at the Divisional Round and preview Conference Championship Weekend with Joe Everett of NFL Draft Bible and when we talk college basketball on the Handicapping the Hardwood segment with Kyle Hunter of HunterSportsPicks.com.
