Two professional handicappers joined host Adam Burke for this Thursday January 10 edition of BangTheBook Radio. Brad Powers from BradPowersSports.com talked NFL playoffs Divisional Round action and college hoops and we also got some NBA and college basketball insights from Tony George of Doc’s Sports.
We’ve got updated NFL Power Ratings for the playoffs from Danny Vorgs to go along with NHL and college basketball picks articles from Parker Michaels and Kyle Hunter. We really do have a lot of great content at the website right now and encourage all of you to check it out and bang the books tonight, tomorrow, this weekend, and beyond.
DSI Sportsbook continues to offer one of the best promo codes in the business with the BTB200 promo code. That will net you a 100 percent deposit match bonus for the sportsbook and the same for the live casino up to $500.
Host Adam Burke opened up the show with a few introductory thoughts and remarks before chatting with our first guest.
Brad Powers from BradPowersSports.com started us off on this edition of BangTheBook Radio with a look at the NFL playoffs and the Divisional Round matchups coming up this weekend. The Indianapolis Colts vs. Kansas City Chiefs game on Saturday profiles as a shootout, while the game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Los Angeles Rams could go either way.
On Sunday, the Los Angeles Chargers battle the New England Patriots and the Philadelphia Eagles and Nick Foles take on the New Orleans Saints. Brad gave his thoughts on all four of these games with picks and leans on both side and total and some terrific stats, trends, and betting angles to consider.
The guys also talked college basketball, as college football has come to a close and Brad has transitioned over to college hoops.
Tony George, professional handicapper from Doc’s Sports, joined us on the show to wrap up his college football season with some thoughts on what worked well and what didn’t. The guys then moved to the hardwood to chat some NBA and college basketball on today’s show.
The NBA is already at the midpoint of the season, so Adam and Tony talked about what we’ve seen so far and what Tony is using to his advantage thus far. They also looked at tonight’s Thunder vs. Spurs matchup on TNT.
On the college hoops side, we’re well into conference play. In the Big 12 and the Missouri Valley, every team except for one has a loss in conference already. Who can we trust? Who stands out? What should we do with these two leagues? Tony had those answers on today’s show.
Join us on Friday when we chat with BangTheBook contributor Kyle Hunter and also hear from Brent at DSI Sportsbook with this week’s version of The Odds Report.
