There are a lot of ways to go about breaking down a game. We’ve tried to cover a lot of them on the shows as we’ve gone throughout the year. We’ve added some new considerations this week and carried those over onto today’s edition of BangTheBook Radio. Host Adam Burke was joined by Bryan Leonard and Wes Reynolds to talk college football, the NFL, and the NBA.

Today’s first guest was Bryan Leonard of WagerTalk.com for some college football betting tips and free picks. In a continuation of yesterday’s segment with Sports Cheetah, the guys discussed the diminishing returns of power ratings with so many other betting considerations for college football at this point in the season.
Listeners were treated to a free premium selection on a Thursday night game during this segment, in which the guys also talked about MACtion. Toledo battles Ohio and Central Michigan shoots its shot for the Michigan MAC Trophy against Eastern Michigan in tonight’s games, which were both discussed. That Thursday game featured a solid pick from Bryan and he also shed some light on another pick that could make his Friday night card.
Wes Reynolds joined us for this week’s Wednesday Wagering with Wes Reynolds segment. After touching briefly on the start of college basketball on Friday, the guys took a deep dive into Week 10 of the NFL, beginning with Seahawks vs. Cardinals on Thursday. They also chatted about the Vikings vs. Redskins and the Cowboys vs. Falcons with a lot of good stats, trends, injury notes, and all the information that you need to succeed.
On the NBA side, there are some outliers at the start of the season and we’ve seen 10 or 11 games from just about everybody, so we have some data points to consider. Wes hit on a few teams that are early-season surprises for him and the guys also chatted about some teams that have a big disparity of home and road games and what that means from a betting standpoint going forward.
Join us on Thursday when we chat college football and the NFL with Brad Powers from BradPowersSports.com and also Ralph Michaels from WagerTalk.com.
