The Week 3 of the NFL season continues on Sunday, September 25, and we have this interesting conference tilt, so here you can get the best Ravens vs. Patriots betting pick and odds.

Baltimore and New England are both standing at a 1-1 record and will be looking for the second win of the season when they meet at Gillette Stadium in Week 3. The Orioles are 3-point favorites on Bovada Sportsbook, while the total is set at 43.5 points. These AFC rivals haven’t met since 2020.

Ravens dropped a 21-point lead in the loss to the Dolphins

The Baltimore Ravens comfortably beat the New York Jets in Week 1 and had a big lead in the game at halftime against the Miami Dolphins at home. Still, they failed to win because of Miami’s QB Tua Tagovailoa and his four TD passes in the final quarter, so the visitors claimed an unlikely 42-38 victory and improved to a 2-0 record.

Lamar Jackson had an extraordinary game and 400+ total yards. He completed 21 of 29 passes for 318 yards and three touchdowns, while he added 119 rushing yards with a TD on team-high nine carries. Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews were targeted 18 times combined and produced 2012 yards and two touchdowns. On defense, Marcus Williams was the best on the field with ten total tackles. He also contributed with two interceptions.

Devin Duvernay exited the last game with a concussion, and it is unknown if he will be available against the Patriots on Sunday.

Patriots didn’t have trouble with the Steelers in Pittsburgh

The New England Patriots also know what it means to lose to the Miami Marlins, but after that Week 1 defeat, the Pats displayed much better performance in Pittsburgh against the Steelers. New England was in control; the Patriots totaled 376 yards opposite Pittsburgh’s 243 and had seven minutes more of possession in a deserved 17-14 win.

Mac Jones completed 21 of 35 passes for 252 yards, one touchdown, and one interception. Nelson Agholor and Jakobi Meyers combined for 200+ receiving yards, while the former caught the one TD pass from Jones. Damien Harris was solid on the ground with 71 yards and a TD on 15 carries. The Patriots defense recorded three sacks, while the O-Line didn’t allow a single one in return

Trends:

Baltimore:

  • 4-0 ATS in the last four games following an ATS loss
  • 12-5 ATS in the last 17 games after scoring more than 30 points in their previous game

New England:

  • 0-3-1 ATS in the last four games overall
  • 0-3-1 ATS in the last four vs. AFC opponents

Baltimore Ravens vs. New England Patriots Pick

The Patriots successfully stopped Mitch Trubisky and the Steelers, but it won’t be that easy against Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. Mac Jones must be on the field for as much as possible to keep Jackson off, and the Patriots must control the clock if they want to win. I don’t think they will manage to contain Lamar and Baltimore, and even if they do limit the visitors in some segments, the hosts don’t have enough firepower (like Dolphins) to compete offensively.

Pick: Take the Ravens at -2.5 (-130)

The Total

New England scored just 24 points in the opening two games of the season, and it seems that their offense will improve anytime soon. Baltimore’s defense, which was strong against the Jets and non-existent against the Dolphins, will bounce back in this one and will play a big role in the Ravens’ win. Under is 12-4 in the Ravens’ last 16 road games; Under is 4-1 in Baltimore’s previous five games following an ATS loss, while Under is 11-5 in the Patriots’ last 16 games following a straight-up win.Pick: Go Under 43.5 points (-110)
