No real changes at the top of the odds list since last time we looked at the Monster Energy Cup Championship odds. Martin Truex Jr. has seen a bit of a reduction in his odds, while Kyle Bush has remained at +275 the past few weeks. The next few drivers have seen a slight shuffling of the odds, with the exception of Ryan Blaney, who continues to see his odds climb and he’s now +2750, which is now greater than Hamlin, Bowyer and Kyle Larson.

Joey Logano has held steady at +850 despite taking over the points lead and NASCAR predicts he’ll finish the playoffs in second place, so possibly not the worst of the value wagers at +850. Kevin Harvick is third in the season points standings, but has yet to win a race, something Kyle Busch and Truex have done four times this year, which is the primary reason NASCAR is predicting him to finish sixth in the points standings.

No surprise NASCAR has Kyle Bush placing first with a projection of 2,036 points, which is four more than Logano, nine more than Truex and 10 more than Brad Keselowski. Denny Hamlin is projected to finish fifth.

Among the real long shots, Alex Bowman is projected to finish ninth and is at 40-to-1.

There are still seven races before the playoffs begin, so a number of drivers can make some moves before the real action begins and points are going to be at a premium. This weekend’s race in New Hampshire is a big one, as there are quite a few drivers who have enjoyed success at the track over the years.

With just 17 points separating the projected top five at the end of the season, each point a driver can earn from this point on can play a role in the final outcome, so there are really two separate races to be keeping an eye on from this point forward, the battle among the points leaders, as well as the battle to finish in the top 16 and move to the playoffs. Entering New Hampshire, just 12 points separate the No. 14 through No. 18 drivers.
