Nashville skated to a 7-5 victory over Chicago on Saturday in NHL action at Bridgestone Arena.

Matt Cullen, Paul Gaustad, Shea Weber, Patric Hornqvist, Colin Wilson, Ryan Ellis, and Craig Smith each scored for the Predators in the victory. Smith opened the scoring for Nashville, finding the back of the net at 12:57 of the first period. The goal was assisted by Paul Gaustad.

Pekka Rinne turned in a 20-save effort for the Predators.

Marian Hossa, Ben Smith, Jeremy Morin, Andrew Shaw, and Matt Carey scored for the Blackhawks, finding the net behind Pekka Rinne.

Antti Raanta stopped 26 of 32 shots for the Blackhawks, but it wasn't enough to earn the victory.

On the power play, Nashville went 0-for-3, while the Blackhawks were 0-for-2 with the man advantage.

Chicago lost the shots on goal battle to Nashville by a margin of 33-25.
