Mike Davis rushed for 49 yards, while Connor Shaw added 47 yards in the win. Bruce Ellington and Shaq Roland added 140 and 112 receiving yards respectively.
Melvin Gordon rushed for 143 yards for Wisconsin, while James White added 107 yards. Joel Stave threw for 80 yards for the Badgers, while receivers Jacob Pedersen and Jared Abbrederis had 50 and 30 yards respectively.
Wisconsin was outgained by South Carolina 438-410 yards in Wednesday's match, while the important battle of first downs was won 21-20 by the Badgers.
The time of possession battle favored South Carolina as their offense was on the field for 30:34, longer than the 29:26 of their opponents.
