The Knights were Week 15 winners on Saturday, coming out on top of the Mustangs by a score of 17-13 at Gerald J. Ford Stadium.

Blake Bortles completed 24 of 35 pass attempts for 242 yards for the Knights in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Kevin Pope rushed for 50 yards for Southern Methodist, while Prescott Line added 28 yards. Neal Burcham threw for 222 yards for the Mustangs, while receivers Keenan Holman and Der'rikk Thompson had 91 and 41 yards respectively.
Southern Methodist lost the offensive yardage battle to Central Florida 338-313 yards in Saturday's game. Central Florida had more first downs as that total ended up 24-15.
The time of possession battle favored Southern Methodist as their offense was on the field for 31:52, longer than the 28:08 of their opponents.
