BYU got a 219-yard performance from Jamaal Williams as a key part of its 28-23 victory over the Wolf Pack on Saturday at Mackay Stadium.
BYU won on the scoreboard, but lost at the pay window as they failed to cover the 16-point spread. The game went UNDER the consensus closing total of 65.5.
Taysom Hill completed 14 of 18 pass attempts for 98 yards for the Cougars in the win. He did not throw an interception in the game.
Kendall Brock rushed for 56 yards for Nevada, while Don Jackson added 35 yards. Cody Fajardo threw for 259 yards for the Wolf Pack, while receivers Brandon Wimberly and Richy Turner had 117 and 82 yards respectively.
Nevada lost the offensive yardage battle to BYU 492-363 yards in Saturday's game. Nevada had more first downs as that total ended up 26-19.
The time of possession battle favored Nevada as their offense was on the field for 35:37, longer than the 24:23 of their opponents.
