Question of the Day

Is it morally wrong to fast forward through the minute of silence before a sporting event that you recorded ?

Never, ever criticize someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes........for at that point they will be a mile away. And you'll have their shoes !

Probably! But if you've recorded it, you've already missed the actual minute of silence so I doubt anyone would care!

Don't know the answer to that one, but what a interesting question. Did you read that somewhere or come up with it yourself. Just curious. I guess it is ok to forward past it since it is not live.

I think Finance has got it right.
Since I don't contribute alot with my personal plays/picks, I just try and throw out something amusing for myself & others.
Why don't I contribute my picks? Well, I've said it before...................I usually do pretty well in our hobby. (Bases aside) Been at it a long time, have seen everything, not only once but probably twice and have learned a lotta "don'ts". I suck at baseball and realize it and wager accordingly. But it seems that whenever I tout a play online it goes down the tubes. I don't know why. I could go 4-1 for the nite, but the one loss is the one I touted. Happens all the time. The other reason is that I really don't like someone losing any or their hard earned cash on my account. It's the ol Wide world of Sports thing, the thrill of victory(giving out a winner) doesn't thrill me as much as the agony of defeat(giving someone a loser) stings me.
Soooooooooo...........maybe Finance has it figured right. He usually does.
