SPOOKY EXPRESS QUESTION OF THE DAY

Question for the Weekend

Posted this on our facebook page. www.facebook.com/spookyexpress
So would love to hear some answers here at the forum and feel free to stop by on Facebook and post them as well.

On Tuesday the defending National Champion Kentucky Wildcats lost to a team more known for their sweet nickname (Bobby Mo) than their basketball program. For Wildcats fans this is the end of a hugely disappointing season.

So since I am a USC fan and earlier this season the USC Trojans were a preseason favorite to win the National Championship in Football. They had the Heisman Trophy front runner and the attention of the nation. What started out with promise ended up as anything but.

The question that The Spooky Express would like to ask is which program had the worse season?

1. Kentucky Wildcats in Basketball
2. USC Trojans in Football

Whats your thoughts?

That's a tough one! I'd probably say USC as bad as I hate to admit that!

why?

Because Kentucky lost a good part of their starting line up and repeats are tough! (Unless your Alabama or Duke). I felt when USC's QB and a few other players decided to stick it out for their senior year they just might do it! HOWEVER, in my humble opinion their coach SUCKS so I am not surprised USC didn't make it - so that being said I want to change my vote - Kentucky had the more disappointed season!

USC made a low tier bowl game after being punished by the NCAA the year before. Kentucky as defending champions made the NIT with Calipari. I think I've stated my case. And that includes anyone who climbs on bandwagoneers or rides the homer.

I'd say Kentucky...too much pressure in college foots in that one loss for the preseason number 1 and all of the season goals are pretty much already out the window...once USC wasn't at least going to the Rose Bowl what did it really matter? Much longer season for cbb to make adjustments, etc.

I'd have to go with Kentucky. I sure didn't expect them to end up like this!

I will go with Kentucky. I don't care how many problems they had this year, for a program like that to not make the tourney is embarrassing. Then to be a number one seed in the NIT (not in tournatment- tournament) and lose is even worse. I did not mind seeing USC suffer though...........they get on my nerves.

Lean to Kentucky. True, they had depleted lineup vs last season, but this just seamed to come from nowhere. USC program on sorta a spiral anyway, so I'd say from a surprise standpoint it was Kenty.

Never, ever criticize someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes........for at that point they will be a mile away. And you'll have their shoes !
