ANYONE FAMILIAR WITH ATLANTA

Since its almost time for March Madness that means need to make some plans for my stay in Atlanta for the Final Four.

Anyone have any thoughts on recommendations, places to see, best restaurants while we are there for Final Four weekend? Definitely going to take in an Atlanta Braves game while we are there.

Thanks for any input!!

The Braves suck!! Just had to throw that in there. GO PHILLIES!! I don't know Atlanta at all, but I am sure you will have a great time.

Thanks Mark. So tell me how you really feel about the Braves. lol
Saw the Mets last night here at Spring Training and they won rather easily. May be the first and last time this year for them. lol So you want to talk about teams that may suck.

Gonna be fun. Nice week planned in Atlanta with the Final Four games and get to see Sensei Ryan as well. So Im sure they will be a bit of trouble we will get into.

Yes its the capital of Georgia and is home to 5,457,831 people and the ninth largest metropolitan area in the United States. Is that what your looking for?

And I hear Atlanta sell some really neat shot glasses and some even say Final 4 or Hawks or Braves or Falcons on them
(But buy early cuz they sell out fast)

LMAO.....been there once, but it was over 10 years ago and it was a fly in, go to a meeting and fly back out so didn't even stay the night - been through the airport a few times.....I realize that is even less help than Ryan's post, but I thought I'd share - LOL

So it takes more than 2 weeks since the original post for anyone to even pay attention let alone come up with some witty and dry humor. You guys and gals are slipping.

I will just have to inform you all of the CNN tour, Coca Cola Tour, Georgia Aquarium, maybe a little food at the Varsity and Vortex along with a nice meal at Two Urban licks. Only a name Ryan would enjoy.

Some venues I remember as seen on the travel channel. Only been as close as Savannah and that was at a stop at my dad's Prudential convention for 25 years of service.

Atlanta Botanical Garden
Coca-Cola World (sorry Marc I know it's strictly water for you)
Atlanta Museum of Design
of course Turner Field

This could be your final visit to the Georgiadome since it's likely the Congress Center plans to replace the Falcons home with a new domed stadium.
