Hope you applied the B2B trend to last night's Detroit win over Dallas.
Posted LA Kings (WIN) on Monday in a shoot out win and a tie (WIN 2-2 ) in regulation.
so for 1-30....
For starters tonight there are a few notes to consider:
Montreal is playing their 3rd game in 4 nights.
Ottawa is playing their 5th game in 7 nights
Minnesota playing their 4th game in 6 nights
Harder when that 4th game is off a B2B from last night.
Minni won the game but had only 3 shots in that 3rd period.
Figuring mid season game shape may not be there for Minni for all 60 minutes 2nite.
Streaking Chicago which is my call at -130 ( resting since Sunday's OT win ).
Chicago at home would be -180<-200. They have no issues winning in Minni.
Over the past 2 seasons Chicago lost 1 of 4 games vs Minni in each.
Cannot figure this to be that sole situation. The odds are on Chicago's side for good reason.
Montreal has the backup Budaj playing in his 1st game.
Do not like #2 backups in their 1st outings this shortened year.
Montreal still pushing themselves hard without PK Subban in the lineup
which has paid off for them big time. With Spezza out the Habs have a chance,
especially being Ottawa's 5th game in 7 nights ?? Not fully committed just yet.
Would take the under if Price was in the cage. Tough to make an under with Budaj.
Habs have been bagging 4 goals a game and Ottawa has to be good for a couple.
Would settle for 3 aside, hence going with the Over 5 1/2 even.
Maybe tired legs and some stupid penalties = power plays and goals.
