I don't miss it now, but once MLB concludes yes I will miss it. While college will be alive and well, I still look forward to the NBA games on Wednesday Thursday and Friday nights on National TV. If the players are still miles away from ending this lockout though as it gets closer to gameday I can certainly do without. I don't want a shortened schedule like back in 99 when my Knicks somehow made it to the finals against San Antonio.
I love it. NBA and NHL are my cream of the crop especially toward the end of the year.. NHL has the softest betting lines of any sport in America because simply there is not enough feedback to change the lines and the odds makers are generally way off on their opening lines.
I miss it. Liked watching a game or two each week and I've been doing OK with my NBA bets for years. Better than with most other sports.
i will miss it when november rolls around. but part of me wants to see both sides get hurt in the pocket book....and 1 less year lebron gets a chance at a ring
Well the league better get the owners on the same page with the players by Monday. The entire preseason is now canceled, with the first 2 weeks to follow if an agreement isn't reached.
The latest now from the commissioner's office is that both sides are continuing to meet daily with a federal mediator. David Stern has threatened to cancel more NBA games through Christmas, but I believe he'll consider two weeks intervals unless the longevity of the lockout continues to get out of hand. All I can say is thank goodness for CBB!
A-men to that...there will be a short intermission between bases and college hoops that the NBA normally fills, but once college hoops gets rolling then screw the prima donnas....
Ditto.... I like the NBA but I'd watch a good college basketball game over NBA almost any day of the week :)
And when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly...
Usually on a broomstick but we're flexible like that
