Manning has won nine straight starts against the Ravens, including the playoffs. That’s the second-longest active winning streak by a quarterback over a particular opponent. Coincidentally, Flacco has won 10 straight against the Cleveland Browns, the only active streak longer than Manning’s over the Ravens.

The Broncos have won 11 straight games, the longest active win streak in the NFL and their longest since opening the 1998 season 13-0. They won the Super Bowl that season

Baltimore Ravens at Denver Broncos (-9.5, 46)

According to BetDSI.com, public and sharp money is split on this early AFC game. The betting public is siding with the Broncos at home but wiseguy action has jumped on the Ravens. While the money is balanced on both sides, Denver is taking more bets at a 2-to-1 pace. Sportsbooks are also seeing a lot of Broncos teaser action, which has been the case all season.

Broncos QB Peyton Manning, who spent the bulk of his career at the RCA Dome with the Indianapolis Colts, has limited experience playing in temperatures this frigid. According to Coldhardfootballfacts.com, he had played in six cold-weather games through the 2009 season. He has played in two since, and is 4-4 straight-up in chilly conditions.

Manning is 0-3 in the playoffs in cold-weather games. The Colts lost, 20-3, in New England in 2005; 24-14 in New England in ’04; and at the New York Jets, 41-0, in ’03. He has never won a playoff game when the temperature has been below 40 degrees.

Prop picks

Ray Rice (Baltimore Ravens) vs. Knowshon Moreno (Denver Broncos)

This one essentially boils down to having more faith in the Broncos defense than the Ravens. When playing from behind on the road, we've seen the Ravens abandon the running game time and time again under the guidance of head coach John Harbaugh. Who's to say that doesn't happen again Saturday?

Knowshon Moreno quietly carried the ball at least 20 times in five of the Broncos’ last six games. He was limited to only 15 carries in Week 17 against the Chiefs, only due to the lopsided nature of that game. He'll find plenty of room to run against an aging Ravens front seven and will be given a heavy workload with Willis McGahee still sidelined.

Take: Moreno
