The Packers have won 26 of their last 28 games (including the postseason) at Lambeau Field. They are just 2-4 in their last six home playoff games, however, including a loss to the New York Giants in the divisional round last season.

This will mark just the second meeting between the two division rivals in the playoffs. The Vikings won a wild-card game at Lambeau Field in 2004.

Pass protection: Schaub was sacked just 27 times this season, but 12 of them came in the last four games and 10 in the last three. The Bengals ranked third in the NFL in 2012 with 51 sacks, led by Pro Bowl defensive tackle Geno Atkins with 12.5. Bengals defensive end Michael Johnson had 11.5 sacks.

NFL PLAYOFF PICKS

BENGALS +4

In a game that should be close I am taking the points. The Texans are not playing well but should make this a game and run the ball to keep it close. Dalton and Green have a combo that is tough to defend and the Texans defense has been beatable through the air.
Bengals defense up front is sick!

1. Tramon Williams vs. Adrian Peterson—It’s a lock that the Vikings are going to run right at the Packers cornerback and test his resolve.

2. Vikings secondary vs. Aaron Rodgers—Rodgers lit up the Vikings for 365 yards passing and four touchdowns. He did with his arm to the Vikings secondary what Peterson did with his legs to the Packers defense.

3. Mike McCarthy vs. Leslie Frazier—The coach that finds a way to stop his opponent’s star player, in this case Rodgers vs. Peterson, will win the game.

4. Clay Matthews vs. Matt Kalil—This is a feature attraction pitting a star pass rusher from USC against a star-of-the-future pass blocker from USC. Is Kalil ready for this kind of prime-time challenge?

5. Packers’ will vs. Vikings’ will—In the cold and with the season on the line, this game is a test of will. Which team will huddle around the sideline heaters?

Vikings’ offense: Adrian Peterson put up 199 yards in his season finale, falling just nine yards short of the the NFL season record. Peterson was once again dominant, scoring two touchdowns, one on the receiving end of a pass from the suddenly efficient Christian Ponder at QB. Ponder's production went in the tank once WR Percy Harvin was lost for the season with a foot injury, but he has four TD passes in his past two games and has not thrown an interception in his last three outings. The receiving corps is still a major concern, but Jarius Wright had a breakout game against the Packers with 90 yards and a touchdown.

Packers' offense: Rodgers is once again one of the leaders in the MVP race after throwing 39 touchdown passes, which ranked second in the NFL. He also led the league by a wide margin in passer rating. Rodgers finished the season on a roll, hurling 10 touchdown passes without an interception in the past three games. Green Bay's receiving corps is back to full strength as both Greg Jennings and Jordy Nelson returned to the lineup last week and had big games. The pair combined for 11 catches for 207 yards and three touchdowns. DuJuan Harris had 70 yards on the ground last week, but the Packers remain mainly a passing team.
