Buffalo at Miami (-4.5, 41.5)

The Dolphins are still in playoff contention after last week’s 24-3 win over Jacksonville, but will need a ton of help in order to play January football. Running back Reggie Bush racked up 104 yards on the ground in the victory– his first 100-yard effort since Week 2. The Bills will finish with a losing record for an eighth consecutive season after last Sunday’s 50-17 rout by Seattle. Buffalo, which yielded a season-low 184 yards in a 19-14 win over the Dolphins on Nov. 15, has become the eighth NFL team - and first since the 1986 Jets - to allow 45 points four times in one season. Miami has won three of four at home over Buffalo and is 4-1 ATS in its last five December games.

Matchup: Indianapolis Colts at Kansas City Chiefs

Spread: Colts minus-7
Public consensus pick: 69 percent picked Colts

Public perception: The Chiefs were shut out 15-0 by the Raiders. The Colts lost (and lost the cover to the Texans) but that hasn't diminished the betting public's faith in the Colts as they're still 8-5-1 ATS.

Wiseguys' view: Some sharps helped push this line from an opener of minus-5.5 at some books, but there will be some buyback at Chiefs plus-7. The books will be pulling for the Chiefs, as this will also be a huge teaser game with bettors taking the Colts under a field goal.

Tuley's Take: The Colts are heading to the playoffs; the Chiefs could be in line for the No. 1 draft pick, but the Colts are still doing it with mirrors (they've been outscored by 49 points despite their 9-5 SU record). Andrew Luck may very well come through in the clutch, but hopefully not to get the cover. The pick: Chiefs (but not at 6.5).

The Packers are 14-0 OU (10.2 ppg) at home following a win where they picked up at least three first downs via penalty

The Saints have allowed a league-worst 446 total YPG this year, ranking 31st against the run (146 YPG) and also 31st in passing defense (287 YPG). Dallas has committed 0-to-1 turnovers in six of the past seven games, but New Orleans has 12 takeaways over the past five weeks.

Andrew Luck: needs 74 passing yards to break Cam Newton's mark for most passing yards by a rookie QB (Newton had 4,051 last season)

Cincinnati at Pittsburgh (-3.5, 42.5)

The Bengals will try to keep their division title hopes alive - while eliminating the host Steelers from the playoff race entirely. A Cincinnati win Sunday would clinch a playoff spot while knocking the Steelers out of contention. The Bengals, who are winners of five of six after thumping Philadelphia 34-13 on Dec. 13, are well rested but have lost their past five against Pittsburgh. Cincinnati is allowing just 12.5 points per game over its last six – the best in the NFL in that stretch - while forcing 15 turnovers. The Steelers have numerous injuries to their secondary and will be without cornerback Ike Taylor (ankle) for a third straight game. The Bengals are 0-7-2 ATS in their last nine versus AFC North foes.

The Saints certainly need to take care of the football better, as they have committed nine turnovers in their past two road games, a huge jump from the two turnovers they had in the previous four road contests combined.
