One unit (25-23)(-3.15)
Two unit (23-17)(+7.80)
Three unit (16-17)(-8.70)
OVERALL SEASON (64-57)(-4.05)
5-4 picking up 0.30 units last week. I am very pleased to come back and only be down what I am so far. This is a good season for me. LOL
All my wife wanted for Christmas this year was to visit her parents in Florida, so we are headed out this Saturday and I will not be back until Jan 1st. I am pretty sure I will have internet while down there, so I should be able to continue to post. For this week I am going to get things done a little earlier than usual. Here are my picks for the next to last week of the regular season.
Pittsburgh -4 vs Cincinnati (three units)………….Let me start by saying I cannot stand the Steelers. I actually think they are undervalued right now. They did not go from a team who could win it all to a team who is not that good. On the other hand, I think Cincy is getting way too much respect. I think this line should be seven at least. Big Ben and the Steelers are going to win this game and I do not even think it will be real close, make it 31-20.
NY Giants -2.5 vs Baltimore (three units)…………….Forget about last weeks game where the Giants did not show up. They always play best when their backs are against the wall and now it is really an uphill battle. Plus I just am not that impressed with Baltimore or their QB and their defense is not what it used to be. Throw in the fact the NFC is much better than the AFC in my opinion. Might be a close game, but the Giants will find a way to win.
Atlanta -3.5 vs Detroit (two units)…………I am sure this is a loser because I just cannot pick an Atlanta game right. Simply put they should kill Detroit. That is all I have to say.
Miami -4 vs Buffalo (two units)………….I will admit I am betting with my heart a little bit in this one. Miami still barely alive in the playoff race, so hopefully they show some pride and bring their A game. They are certainly better than Buffalo and are at home and have a small line that they are capable of covering. Plus I live in Pennsylvania and will be going to this game, so it is a must I have some money one them.
The rest of these are (one unit) plays.
Seattle (+/-) vs San Francisco………….I have not seen a line on this one yet, but anything three or under I am taking Seattle. Higher than three it is a no play.
Dallas -3 vs New Orleans…………The Cowboys actually are starting to look good and have a very winnable game vs a team who does not play defense. Boys outscore them.
Cleveland +13 vs Denver………….Just a crazy gut feeling the Browns cover. Denver should be able to name the score, but something tells me their heads won’t be in it.
