LINE MOVES

Indianapolis Colts at Houston Texans

Line moves: Texans opened minus-8, currently minus-9
Books says: "You jack it up a little bit because Houston got it stuck to them on Monday night. The smart guy would have played Indy seven or higher if Houston had beaten New England. Now it's a different angle and the Texans are pissed and have to fight off the new kid."

Every week we showcase the picks from Dave Tuley---here we go...

Matchup: Green Bay Packers at Chicago Bears

Spread: Packers minus-3
Public consensus pick: 67 percent picked Packers

Public perception: The public sees this as two teams heading in opposite directions. The Packers have recovered from a slow start and have passed the Bears in the NFC North, so the public is lining up to back the ever-popular Pack per usual.

Wiseguys' view: The sharps view this as a much more even matchup. In fact, the Vegas NFL Bettors' Poll that I put together on Tuesday for ESPN Insider has these teams only 2.5 points different in the power ratings and the Bears as one of three plays this week when their home-field advantage is taken into effect.

Tuley's Take: I would love to make a case for the home underdog here, but a few things scare me. I'm not a big "revenge" handicapper and would usually rather have the team that proved it can beat the other in the most-recent matchup. The Packers dominated the Bears back in Week 2 and the two teams' recent form doesn't give me confidence that the Bears' offensive line can keep Jay Cutler safe enough to keep them in the game. The pick: Pass (pool play: Packers).

After recording 28 turnovers en route to posting a 7-1 mark, Bears have forced just seven takeaways in past five games.

GB - OLB Clay Matthews might be limited
Source: ESPNMilwaukee.com - Jason Wilde
Green Bay Packers LB Clay Matthews (hamstring) is listed as probable for the Week 15 game against the Chicago Bears, but he might be limited in his number of snaps, according to head coach Mike McCarthy. 'I think we'd be smart to watch his reps. It's something we've talked about with him personally and a number of guys coming back,' McCarthy said Friday, Dec. 14. 'This is a very important game, but there's more left to be played after this game.'

Washington Redskins at Cleveland Browns (-2.5, 43.5)

Robert Griffin III and his sprained lateral collateral ligament are getting all of the attention this week. The rookie QB has practiced on a limited basis, but will not be suiting up. The Browns’ current three-game winning streak is their longest since 2009. Cleveland has held its last three opponents to an average of 12.7 points while forcing 11 turnovers. The Browns are 4-0 ATS in their last four games overall.
