WHAT IS YOUR LAST MEAL IF YOU WERE ON DEATH ROW OR THE WORLD WAS ENDING?

So listening to Mike and Mike this morning figured I would ask this of the forum. If you are on Death Row or and headed to the chair what would be on the menu for your last meal? Basically here is my 8 course meal.

1. Im probably starting with some Steamed Clams as an appetizer
2. Then going with some Fried Mozzarella Capresce.
3. Skipping the salad so enough room for everything else. Although some tasty Garlic Bread would be good.
4. Of course a small bowl of sherbert to slide down before the main course.
5. Then jumping to a 5 lb Steamed Lobster having the chef crack and remove the lobster meat along with a baked potato that melts in your mouth with a corn on the cob. Asparagus or spinach can be on the table also.
6. At that point a nice glass of Sambucca or something to go down easy.
7. Then would order a nice chocolate mousse along with some Vanilla ice cream. They just go so well together.
As an Ice Cream guy, would love a Jim Dandy from Friendly's but not sure I would have room for that.
8. Then finish it off with a nice espresso or cappuccino along with another Sambucca.
It could be caffeinated cause I will be so full that I would just fall asleep anyway.

SO thats my final meal for now.

Personally, I'd dive between Salma Hayek's legs, that would be my last meal.

I must be gettin' old... I still think baseball is cool.

Also heard this on Mike and Mike this morning. I am a very picky and simple eater and do not like a ton of fancy stuff. I l love mashed potatoes, so that is one of the things. For my meat I would go with a boneless pork roast with homemade stuffing, some type of roll/crossant. For my veggie...........lets just skip that one. Cannot force me to eat a veggie on my last meal. Dessert I am going with Bananas Foster. I had that for dessert when I proposed to my wife 15 years ago and it remains my favorite. To wash it all down, some sort of a light, white wine.

I just made myself hungry. Wonder if I can talk wife into going out for dinner tonight.

Heard this on Mike and Mike in the morning as well. I'm surprised my good cholesterol and not so good cholesterol is normal since I LOVE cheese. Being that I have several choices from several preferences, I would try not to make this too extensive although for my final meal it would have to be my absolute best. Of course working as a busboy, waiter and maitre'd in one of Staten Island's top catering halls for 26 years helped me pick up some quality education on my cuisine.

For the Appetizer gotta have my cold antipasto. Loads of roasted peppers along with black and green olives, salami, pepperoni, pepperoncini, prosciutto, provolone and mozzarella cheeses, oil and balsamic vinegar. Plenty of italian bread for cleaning my plate as well. As an alternate loved fried artichoke hearts or if I were watching my very last Super Bowl game either mozzarella wedges or loaded baked potatoes.

Soup: Tortellini wedding.

Salad: Caesar

Intermezzo: For those of you who are not familiar with this, it's italian for intermission or to traditionally clean the palate. Usually served in a wider champagne glass it's lemon sherbert with creme d menthe, a mint leaf and a cherry. Delicious and refreshing!

Main Course: Chicken Cleopatra (Chicken rollantini stuffed with ricotta cheese, sundried tomatoes, prosciutto and mozarella) topped with a marsala mushroom wine reduction. Accompanied by red potato bliss and spinach with roasted garlic.

(Alternate) Chicken parm with spaghetti, but that's way too general. Still love it though.

Dessert: Black Forest cake or cheesecake with a cappuccino.

I'm stuffed just thinking about it and my sugar probably just climbed 200 points. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

Well, I was going to say that I'd like to eat my bookie up, but that sounds too much liek the S Hayek thing. Sooooooo, Greek salad to start, a few dozen littleneck steamers in butter, a small cup of Italian wedding soup, then filet mignon rare with a side dish of linguini in garlic sauce. I don't eat many desserts, but if I did, maybe a scoop of rasberry ice cream or some shelled pistachio nuts. And, maybe a smooth ale beer or Coke.

Never, ever criticize someone until you have walked a mile in their shoes........for at that point they will be a mile away. And you'll have their shoes !
