WOW Top 2 lose - NOW what happens

Guess being an SEC fan it would be tooooo much for me to hope Notre Dame loses next week!

Spooky & Scott do you magic and pull off a USC win next week PLEASE!

Personal wishes aside If the Irish go undefeated I really do think they belong in the big one! But I don't have to wish them a win (well pending who they play)

With Kansas State and Oregon upset this gives unbeaten Notre Dame and Alabama the inside track at the National Championship. In this case it's all about timing when you lose, and with unbeaten Ohio State bowl ineligible you have to consider Notre Dame moving into the top spot with Alabama at #2 when the Sunday night BCS rankings get released.

Wow just an amazing defensive performance by Stanford...all along I figured that Oregon was going to win somehow...really shocked at some of their play calling...guess it's true that they had gone all season without really being tested and they wilted some under the pressure of the close game. Looks like the Irish vs Bama or Georgia ..still some great games coming....

Should have put a little on Bama 6-1 and UGA at 20-1 last week. UF at 50-1 I think was available. All three have a shot depending on USC and ND.

Of course Bama must beat the Barn this week. RTR

When it comes to any of the 5 SEC teams currently in the BCS, I don't think any of them can touch the tenacity, speed, determination and ability to make plays than Alabama's defense. Tops in the country at yielding a little over 9 ppg, Georgia yields almost double and would have to wear down the Tide on both sides of the ball to have a chance. When it comes to the SEC Championship to get the right to play for the BCS title, the only team that could beat Bama is Bama themselves.
