WOW... is right!...
And when someone breaks our wings, we simply continue to fly...
Usually on a broomstick but we're flexible like that
To me this move comes as no surprise except for the timing which I figured would materalize sometime towards Christmas to see where the team would stand after a miserable 1-4 start. However the writing apparently was on the wall considering Nash's injury, Kobe sounding off most recently in the media giving his now former head coach dirty looks and not being on the same page, with finally of all people Dwight Howard trying to play peacemaker encouraging the team to move on and just play ball.
It will be interesting to say the least on who is Brown's successor and how the team overall performs the rest of the way. It's way too early to panic but you have to wonder where the Lakers go from here if they don't turn things around soon.
